Our Native Hawaiian Botanicals:
ʻŌLENA (TURMERIC): A native Hawaiian ginger that was traditionally valued by Hawaiian lāʻau lāpaʻau (herbal medicine) practitioners as a blood cleanser and or other ailments. It is known to help calm and restore the skin's glow. Maintains a glowing complexion and calms acne and irritated skin. Protects the skin against environmental impurities.
NONI: Delivers moisturizing properties by sealing moisture in the skin while calming irritated and damaged skin. Noni works at a cellular level to increase healthy cells and longer collagen fibers. This helps to create healthy, hydrated, youthful skin. Rich source of nutrients (Vitamin C, A, linoleic acids) known for improving skin tone. Traditionally, Hawaiians used all parts of the Noni tree to treat various skin and body ailments.
Some Recipes:
- Mix 1/2 teaspoon of mask powder with 1 Tablespoon of plain yogurt for a moisturizing mask.
- Mix 1/4 teaspoon of mask powder with your cleanser and transform it into an exfoliating cleanser.
- Mix 1/2 teaspoon of mask powder with 1/2 tablespoon of tomato juice for breakouts.
- Mix 1/2 teaspoon of mask powder with 1 tablespoon of Aloe for a moisturizing and soothing mask.
- Use 1/4 - 1 teaspoon of dry botanical mask powder and mix with any liquid or gel. Leave for 10-20 minutes and rinse with warm water. Use once a week after cleansing.
