Kope Soap is a locally owned Hawai'i company that originated at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. Throughout the semester, students in Professor Peter Rowan's Entrepreneurial Marketing class had to create and pitch a new business venture.
The founder of Kope Soap noticed how many students were buying coffee from a cafe nearby and felt that there was a better way to use the coffee grounds. Along with his team, Kope Soap became a reality.
The company focuses on upcycling Kona coffee grounds into premium, natural, and artisan products.
