She grew up exploring Hawaiian forests and the ocean. Debby earned her B.A. in environmental studies with an emphasis on botany. She and her late native Hawaiian husband started the original company, Bliss Jewelry. Together, they took many art and jewelry classes throughout the country. Many of his jewelry designs are present in our collection today. His passing inspired her to quit her job as a teacher and follow their true passion and do art full time, and Debby Sato Designs was born. Today, she combines both of her loves. Debby’s designs are inspired by the plants of Hawai`i, the ocean, and the island lifestyle. She is constantly exploring different techniques and developing new visions for her work in metal, ceramics, and graphic design. Our jewelry is made in Hawai'i and or ethically sourced, and the sterling silver used in our jewelry is made with recycled metal. Our sterling silver and gold fill are zero waste. The shells and beach glass we use are collected in Hawai`i. All our shells are never collected "live". A portion of the profits protect native Hawaiian plants and animals. Hawai`i has been referred to as the “endangered species capital of the world”. Due to millions of years of isolation and many different ecosystems, Hawai’iʻs plants and animals have evolved into different species. Due to the impact of humans, many of these endemic species are endangered or have become extinct. Born and raised exploring the beaches and forests of Hawai'i, the 'Āina is dear to our hearts. Because of that, Debby Sato Designs donates $1 or more from every piece of jewelry sold and 25¢ from every other product to organizations that protect native Hawaiian plants, animals, and their ecosystems. In addition, we also donate to organizations that make Hawai’i and the world a better place. The fire in Lāhainā was devastating! Shop The Full CollectionNamed after the mountain on which Kona coffee grows, Hualalai (pronounced "who ala lie") Estate Coffee started as a hobby for the founder, Joel Cooperson, in 1996, with just a couple acres in his backyard. As Joel’s understanding of and passion for Kona coffee grew, so did his business. Hualalai Estate Coffee began to increase in popularity, and suddenly the coffee produced on the 2-acre farm could not keep up with the demand. Joel started to research the quality of coffees from other farms. Currently, Hualalai Estate Coffee sources coffee from hundreds of acres of multiple farms. This contributes to the brand being able to create a consistently superb product and not being stuck with mediocre crops from bad years, as some small farms and large publicly-traded companies are forced to do. This situation is a win-win for both parties involved. Hualalai Estate Coffee allows farmers who don't want to spend time marketing their own coffee to focus on growing the best coffee possible. While the Hualalai Estate can maintain superior quality through the processing, roasting, and packaging processes. What results is what they strive for - happy consumers.

It was very interesting as a young Hawaii company at that time to see how much effort it really took to get a bill passed through there. It was insane but we got that done and it grew us as a company. We continue to fight big pharma to this day, educating our keiki on why they are so toxic to us and our aina. Beach cleanups etc. we try to do what we can. Right now, we have 14 Hawaii keiki surfers that we sponsor our products to. We believe in educating our keiki.

Shop The Full CollectionMarr Artworks was created by husband and wife team Kristopher & Kim Marr in 2013. Drawing on Kris's background in studio art and woodworking, the shop started small, selling wood pens and koa wood rings. Working side by side, they started experimenting with resin and wood, first turning out pens, then necklace pendants and earrings. Believing in repurposing and reusing items, the jewelry pieces are made using wood scraps sourced from other woodworkers who do not use cutoffs or small natural edge bits. These wood pieces that are normally thrown away are perfect for making their one-of-a-kind pendants and earrings. As their purpose for the shop evolved, they expanded their offerings to include home decor. They started slowly, experimenting on wood panels to get a feel of how the resin flowed and blended together. While Kris continued making jewelry, Kim started taking everyday household items like bowls, serving trays, and ceramics and turning them into functional art. Born and raised in Hawaii, they draw inspiration from the abundant beauty around them. Each piece is one of a kind and represents the strong influence the ocean has played in their lives.

Shop The Full CollectionPikake was what my husband gave me for Prom and my fave. For seven years, my ohana and I lived in Utah. On visits home to Hawaii, I searched for a Pikake-scented product to take back. Disappointing is an understatement. Nothing smelled anything close to Pikake. As a Cosmetologist with a chemistry background, creating a body care line was a dream. When I couldn't find Pikake, a light bulb went off. I created Napua'ala, which literally translates to the scent of a flower. Pikake is my most popular scent among Hawaii residents. When locals and lei makers say I got the Pikake smell right, or when a customer samples a scented card, without hesitation, says, "That's Pikake," that feeling is incredible. Along with Pikake are Plumeria, Coconut Verbena, White Ginger, Lokelani, Gardenia, and a Kane Cologne I call Tama Toa. I made this from memory of a cologne I purchased for my husband in the 80s. I support local businesses whenever possible—purchasing oils, packaging, labels, and professional services here in Hawaii. An opportunity to mentor a new company was a no-brainer. I feel there's an opportunity for all to be successful in Hawaii. The experience was, for the lack of a better word, amazing.

The idea came to her after being asked why she was interested in a book business when "Hawaiians don't read." Over the next ten years, a number of community events found Meyer in the mix with a table of books, mostly published by Bishop Museum Press and the University of Hawai'i Press. Native Books distributed books to booksellers, schools, libraries, and walk-in customers in Kalihi. The motto, getting "good books in good hands," inspired the earliest years of Native Books. The brands' focus was also "mai ke kumu a ka welau" - from the trunk to the tip of the leaf. This is a directive to carry every book in print about every aspect of Hawai'i.

Shop The Full CollectionIn 2018 Jalene Kanani launched NOHO Home with a line of bedding featuring her distinguished patterns. NOHO HOME is a sophisticated island experience cultivated through artful home decor. Creating a sacred space is the essence of home and what inspired the namesake of the lifestyle brand. In ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language), noho means to be, to dwell, or to come from. Inspired by the notions of authenticity and connection, Noho Home encourages the dweller to express their sense of home through pieces that evoke cultural sensibility. With a natural affinity for depth, texture, and organic patterns, Jalene Kanani's interpretation of “tropical” is a welcomed departure from shabby beach chic. Instead, it evokes a sophisticated island aesthetic reminiscent of her upbringing as a native Hawaiian in Hawai'i. As an artist who is naturally attuned to the patterns of her surroundings, Jalene prefers open, freeform creativity to explore the fullness of a focused design before laying it for added depth. In doing so, she approaches each print through a Hawaiian perspective to balance each of the Kū and Hina elements. With dreams of new textiles and product development on the horizon, Jalene’s success in the world of home decor has only just begun.
Shop The Full CollectionAloha! It is truly my pleasure to bring my Hawaiian ocean and reef-inspired jewelry to you, no matter what part of the world you live in! When you wear your pieces from my collection, you will be reminded of the tranquil beauty of our Hawaiian islands. I began making jewelry in 2008. I had been collecting sea glass and shells on Oahu's North Shore and had been using them in jewelry and crafts as a hobby. Later, I became interested in metalwork and learned how to work in Precious Metal Clay and Art Clay, as well as lost wax casting. I incorporated my love for metal and all things Hawai'i into the line of jewelry that you see in my shop. I opened my brick and mortar shop in 2017 after several years of working from my home studio and doing pop-ups. My jewelry studio is on-site, allowing me to be at the shop while I work. If you happen to be on the North Shore of O'ahu, be sure to stop by Nola Studio + Boutique located at 66-935 Kaukonahua Road in Waialua. I use fine silver (99.99% silver), sterling silver, 14k gold, and 14k gold fill. I do not use gold or silver plating. Pearls and stones are sourced from dealers here in Hawaii, and sea glass and shells are found by me. Occasionally, I purchase locally found sea glass or shells from other collectors when my own collection dwindles. My designs are created from eco and people-friendly materials whenever possible Great care is taken to ensure that you will be more than satisfied with your purchase and that it will last many happy years. Aloha, Kaleimae'ole Latronic

Shop The Full CollectionWe are a small family business operating out of our home in Mānoa, Hawaiʻi. We launched Onepaʻa Hawaiʻi at the end of 2020 as an experiment and means to provide for our family. Today, our little endeavor has grown in ways we never imagined in a short amount of time. Today we are curating a variety of conscious clothing. We owe all we know to those who have come before us. We look forward to doing better every day. One (pronounced oh•neigh) has a mysterious and universal effect on us humans. We draw lines and sink our footprints in it. We build castles and kingdoms upon it. It calls out to us with stories of connection and creation. It can be solid and immovable but may also move with the wind and tides of the season. Ebb and flow. As a global species, sand lies deep in our cultural conscience, and today it is one of the most important solid substances on earth. A story we will save for another time... Together, rock and sand are opposite but binding, a consequence of each other, a result from their counterpart, a shift from their beginnings, a deeper understanding of the other, for perhaps they really are just the same but represent different stages in time. The shifting sands of our future rely on the ancient sands of our birthplace. Each grain stands upon the one before it experiencing the ebb and flow in the NOW based on what happened in the BEFORE. We are forever grateful to those who share the stories of times before us so we may understand the unique sequence of past and present human experiences that will ultimately come to define the future of our island communities. Shop The Full CollectionQwaves was formed by Emmy Award-winning and Oscar-shortlisted filmmakers Dean Hamer and Joe Wilson to make films that emanate from the voices of those on the outside that inspire creativity, incite us to abandon our comfortable role as spectators, and compel us to question and act. Throughout the last decade, Hamer and Wilson have collaborated with Native Hawaiian teacher and cultural icon Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu on a series of films focused on Pacific Islander lives and voices. The pair's recent work with animator Daniel Sousa uses ancient and modern legends to probe core elements of human nature across place, time, and identities. Qwaves films were an early part of citizen-generated journalism on the internet and have screened and won awards at the Berlin, Toronto, Tribeca, Annecy, Human Rights Watch, and many other film festivals around the world. Their films have also been exhibited at the Smithsonian, British, Bishop, and American Natural History Museums. They have also been viewed by millions of people on PBS, Netflix, Amazon, and international broadcast networks. Qwaves helped pioneer the movement to use film and media to catalyze community engagement, dialogue, and action on a range of often overlooked issues. Their impact work has received support from Sundance Institute, Ford Foundation, ITVS, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Omidyar Ohana Fund of the Hawai'i Community Foundation, and Pacific Islanders in Communications.

Entirely self-taught, my photographic style uses the bright and beautiful landscapes of Mother Earth as inspiration for my artistic expression. When I’m not exploring nature, I am employed by the Hawaii Department of Education on Oahu’s North Shore. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a Hawaii Licensed Behavior Analyst, I am fortunate to work with a variety of children - many with special needs and unique circumstances. Photography acts as my own therapy, enabling me to be more in tune with both of my careers. I currently reside on Oahu with my wife Ashley and my sons Lincoln and Crosby. I use Sony and Canon cameras and also a Nauticam waterhousing for my underwater photography. From sunrises through midday underwater to sunsets and into the night – I am blessed with this wonderful opportunity to share my experiences with you through the eye of my lens.
