Makamae ("precious") is our Hawaiian nēnē gosling plush created with great attention to detail and in collaboration with our partners Haleakalā and Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Parks. Makamae is the most realistic Hawaiian nēnē gosling plush on the market!
Nēnē, Hawaiian geese, make soft nests on the ground where two to five eggs are laid between October and March. The eggs hatch about a month later, and the goslings are soon able to walk with their parents to find food. Goslings stay with the family for about a year.
The nēnē Gosling (Branta sandvicensis) is found wild in Hawaiʻi and nowhere else on Earth.
Makamae is about 4.5" from wingtip to wingtip and about 6" from bill to tail.
