    Manu o Kū Uluna

Manu o Kū also known as fairy tern and white tern are small white seabirds that can be found throughout the pacific but are now common along the southern shores of Oʻahu. They can be seen flying very sporadically in the majority of the Honolulu area and thrive among its busy streets. Manu o Kū nest directly on tree branches and now it is common practice for tree trimmers to schedule their maintenance around the birds nesting seasons and will flag any trees with active nests so that workers donʻt accidentally harm them. If you are in Honolulu and ever notice trees with blue ribbons wrapped around them, take a minute and look carefully. Thereʻs a very good chance youʻll spot a nest with either adults or a little Manu o Kū fletchling.

The Manu o Kū Uluna measures 10” long and is made with 100% organic cotton and stuffed with hypoallergenic eco-friendly recycled polyester fibers.
