We tamed down the heat of the original recipe by using local Maui-grown habaneros to enhance this sauce's citrusy sweet Mango flavor!!! It tastes like fresh Maui-grown Mangoes from the roadside fruit stand with the nice punch from the habaneros you would expect. Goes very nicely with grilled fish, chicken, or pork. For the more adventurous soul, try drizzling it on your favorite ice cream!
We like to use this sauce as our base for a super hot & fruity wing sauce. Just add melted butter!! Also kicks things up for your fish tacos or even by adding to a simple pico de gallo to give it some tropical umph.
