This hand-drawn design is inspired by opihi shells found on Lāna'i. Opihi are a delicacy and an important symbol in Hawaiian Culture.
For some, they may symbolize holding steadfast to a strong foundation. For others, the saying “my little opihi” is an endearing term referring to a child who clings to their parents.
