This brand new necklace lei is a blend of two unique braiding techniques (Hira Yatsu Edo and Kongo Gumi), but also two size glass beads (8/0 and 6/0).
The Transparent Topaz Seed Beads provide the outer edges with the background for the focal section. Two topaz roller beads bookend this focal section. A bronze-toned acrylic magnetic end cap will keep this secure around your neck.
The necklace then exhibits two characteristics - the ends woven one bead at a time for a tight spiral, and the center weaving the cords as beads called Continuous Beaded Braiding (Edo Yatsu or beads as fiber) for a looser relaxed look and feel.
