Island Silver started on the North Shore of O'ahu. The idea came from noticing that the people of Hawaii love stickers and take pride in their vehicles. However, stickers and decals end up disintegrating in a matter of days or weeks.
In December 2003, Island Silver received their first sample and used a manufacturer in the USA for their first two years. Their Hawaiian Car Jewelry works just like a regular decal where you clean the surface, peel the backing off and stick it on a flat surface. Customers can expect their decals to stick to any flat surface for years with their custom, almost permanent 3m adhesive.
