From finding true Polynesian tattoo artists to choosing tribal art on genuine leather to preserving the art and the leather and more, it was quite a journey to create the product line that customers see now. All Nā Koa products are handcrafted from fine quality leather with genuine Polynesian tattoo art that is created by local artists who have deep knowledge of the culture and meanings.
Nā Koa regularly donates to Family Programs Hawaii (helping Hawaii's children and families involved in the foster care system), to Project Hawaii for school supplies to homeless children, and to Surfrider Foundation. This small company works with amazing artists and creates high-quality products that people love.
