The Punalu'u Bake Shop was born in 1991 after the traditional family recipe was first adapted and prepared at a resort restaurant in Punalu'u in the 1970s and was an instant hit.

The traditional sweet bread is delicately sweet and moist and now expands to an array of flavored sweet bread, dinner rolls, and cookies. Everything is made without preservatives and is baked fresh in Hawai'i.
