Aila Niu is located on the Big Island of Hawaii in Pahoa. The founders are surrounded by coconut palms as they are located by the ocean, where they grow best. They wanted to utilize the natural resource and thus, began their journey in making, what they feel, is the best coconut oil.

As they worked to make their 100% virgin coconut oil, Aila Niu shifted their focus onto coconut milk soap as well since there are a lot of people that suffer from dry and sensitive skin. It was imperative to the team that they create a high-quality product that is made with coconut oil and other natural ingredients.
