Akaka Falls Farm is a team made up of non-certified organic tropical fruit growers that use different methods of organic farming, including but not limited to Biodynamic, Korean methods, and other sustainable practices. They have not used commercial fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide, or fungicide in over 15 years.
Using local fishermen caught with composts and nutrients from their farm, the Akaka Falls Farm team makes their own fertilizers and natural teas. They also purchase fruits from other organic / non-spray growers.
Akaka Falls Farm is a member of the Good Food Merchant Guild, operating an Artisan Small Batch Kitchen (making 30-60 jars at a time) that produces State, National, and International Award Winning preserves, butter, marmalades, chocolate spreads, savory and spicy preserves sauces. They also have a wonderful selection of local raw Hawaiian honey.
Customers can find the Akaka Falls team at local Farmers' Markets on the Big Island and O'ahu.
