    ‘Ilima Pareo

This ‘ilima Pareo from Aloha Modern is available at Pop-Up Mākeke and will become your new best friend thanks to its versatility.

The Hawaiian pareo can be worn as a beach cover-up, as a dress, as a skirt, or as a shawl. It can even be used for more than just a clothing or accessory piece. If you don't have anything to sit on in the sand or on the grass, it would make a great blanket as well.

The ‘ilima flower is a hardy indigenous shrub characterized by silvery heart-shaped leaves and shiny dime-sized blossoms. It belongs to the hibiscus family and grows wild in hot, dry environments. It was the flower of choice for leis by ali‘i or Hawaiian Royalty, but these flower adornments took nearly 500-1000 flowers to complete a single lei strand.

If you have a friend or family member who loves extra accessories or clothing, this rayon pareo would make a great birthday present or Christmas present for the fashionista in your life. It is sure to add a pop of color to any wardrobe and can be used on a daily basis!

    Features:

    • Material: 100% Rayon
    • Measurements: 70" x 43"
    • Golden Color
