This Ke Ao set is the perfect tool for those who are learning 'Ōlelo Hawai'i. The set features beautifully crafted cutouts in the form of cloud shapes and raindrops, with a selection of hua 'ōlelo (Hawaiian words) engraved onto each one. The goal is to pair the right words (raindrops) with the right cloud (Ka/Ke) or "Ka'i" (the word that comes before.)
The set is centered around a helpful tool that I was taught, "ke ao," meaning "clouds," which showed that words beginning in the letters "K, E, A, O" would be used with "ke" in front of it and words that began with the other letters would have a "ka" before it, with some exceptions to the rule of course.
The whole 'ohana will love the challenge of matching the words to their correct counterparts, and the playful cloud and raindrop shapes make this a fun set to enjoy. The engraved words are clear and easy to read, and the beautiful colors make this set both eye-catching and informative, perfect for use in a classroom or at home.
